Tax Planning

Tax planning is an important component for your overall financial plan. Careful planning throughout the year can assist you in reducing the taxes you pay as well as help you achieve your financial goals.

Tax planning should not be done in isolation, but instead should be driven by your overall financial goals and integrated with your total financial plan. By developing and implementing appropriate strategies to lessen or shift current and future tax liabilities, you can improve your prospects of meeting long- and short-term objectives. For example, accurately projecting your income taxes can help you determine the cash flow available to you in the coming year.

Keep in mind that tax laws are often complex and frequently change. As a result, you should consult with H&R Block before making investment and tax decisions.

Audit Services

As a Master Tax Advisor, I am able to provide audit assistance through the H&R Block Standard Guarantee. Under the H&R Block Peace of Mind program, I am also qualified to provide audit representation.  This allows me to stand in on behalf of the client (an individual or legal entity) during an IRS or state income tax audit.

I assist clients in developing the strategy used to defend their position.  I help clients in preparing all documents requested by the taxing authority, attend any meetings, and handle correspondence on behalf of clients.

Certified Acceptance Agent

An Certified Acceptance Agent is someone who, pursuant to a written agreement with the IRS, is authorized to assist individuals and other foreign persons who do not qualify for a Social Security Number, but who still need a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) to process a Form 1040 and other tax schedules. The CAA facilitates the application process by reviewing the necessary documents and forwarding the completed forms to IRS. This is one of the services that I offer to my clients.

Notary Public

Clients often need to notarize affidavits, deeds, wills, and hosts of other types of documents. I am a notary public in the state of Massachusetts. A notary public is empowered to administer oaths and affirmations, perform acknowledgments and jurats and witness signatures, issue subpoenas and protest commercial papers.
